1. Reconnect HDMI Cable

  • Click on the %appdata% folder > Click on AppData.
  • Go to Local > Open TslGame > Go to Saved > Open Config > Open WindowsNoEditor.
  • Open the GameUserSettings.ini file in Notepad.
  • Ensure the values are correct as below:
  • IsVoiceInputMute=False
  • IsVoiceOutputMute=False
  • VoiceInputVolume=100
  • VoiceOutputVolume=100
  • Make sure the values are the same as in the above table and save the file.
  • Reboot the PC and try to play the PUBG game again.

9. Verify and Repair Game Files

Sometimes corrupted or missing game files may cause multiple issues with the game launching, performance, or even audio-related problems. It’s better to verify and repair the game files using the Steam launcher by following the steps below:

  • IsVoiceInputMute=False

  • IsVoiceOutputMute=False

  • VoiceInputVolume=100

  • VoiceOutputVolume=100

  • Launch Steam > Click on Library.

  • Right-click on PUBG from the list of installed games.

  • Now, click on Properties > Go to Local Files.

  • Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.

  • You’ll have to wait for the process until it gets completed.

  • Once done, just restart your computer.

10. Update System Software

It’s recommended to check for firmware updates on your PC or gaming console to ensure there is no update pending. An outdated firmware version may trigger several issues.

For Xbox:

  • Press the Guide button on your Xbox controller.
  • Go to Settings and then select System Settings.
  • Select Network Settings.
  • If prompted, select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network.
  • Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
  • If prompted, select Yes to update the console software.

For PlayStation:

  • Go to the Settings menu > Open the System Software Update tab.
  • Next, select the Update Now button.
  • Finally, press the O or X button on your PS4 controller to confirm your action.

If you’re using a PS5 console then you can follow the steps below:

  • Go to the Settings menu and navigate to Systems.
  • Click on System Software > Head over to System Software Update and Settings.
  • Now, select the Update System Software option.
  • Finally, click on Update Using Internet and follow the on-screen prompts to update your PS5.

For PC:

  • Press Windows + I keys to open up the Windows Settings menu.
  • Next, click on Update & Security > Select Check for updates under the Windows Update section.
  • If there is a feature update available, select Download and install.
  • Wait for some time until the update gets completed.
  • Finally, reboot your PC to apply changes immediately.

11. Re-Login Your Account

If none of the methods worked for you then try signing out and signing into your profile account to check for the issue. To do that:

  • Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the Guide menu.

  • Select Profile & system > Select Sign out.

  • Reboot the console to change effects and then sign back into your Xbox account again.

  • On your PlayStation 4 go to the Settings and access the Account Management tab.

  • Next, highlight the Sign Out option using your controller.

  • Finally, press the O or X button on your controller to confirm your action.

If you’re using the PS5, then you can follow the steps below:

  • First, go to the Settings of your PS5.

  • After that, click on User Accounts and select the Other option.

  • Lastly, click the Sign Out button.

  • Once done, wait for at least 2 minutes before signing back into your Playstation Network account. Join another voice chat afterward to check if the problem is solved.

  • Press the Windows + I keys to open Windows Settings.

  • Click on Accounts > Head over to your logged-in account and sign out of it via Manage Account.
